Lithuania’s university system is an integral part of the European Higher Education Area and contributes to the development of knowledge-based society, research excellence, and public policy dialogue.
The Lithuanian University Rectors’ Conference (LURK) unites Lithuania’s public universities and represents the national university sector in matters of higher education policy, academic standards, and international cooperation. While LURK does not administer admissions or study programmes, it provides an overview of the Lithuanian university system and its institutional framework.
